 Many people think that credit card fraud won't happen to them. They are careful and watch where they shop. Well here are some tips for credit card fraud, that you should consider, even though you shop at your favorite store, and think everything is OK.

Watch your card from the minute it leaves your hand to the minute you get it back

It is amazing what can happen in that split second when you are not watching.

If they drop your card, watch them pick it up, even if you have to lean over the counter to do it.

Don't let them distract you at the counter when paying.

After purchases started showing up on my VISA card, that were not mine, I reported it, and the card was stopped, and I was issued a new card. But this only happened after I went shopping to find out my card was declined.

She then "dropped" my card and on her way back up to the till, she stuck it quickly in a wallet sized copier. That was all it took.

The only reason she was caught, was because she did it too many times that day, and they were able to trace the credit card fraud back to that store..

So, watch you card, be wary of anyone else holding it. Now with the chip cards, you have control of your card. But if the store is still doing it the older way, where they take your card away and swipe it, just don't take your eyes off of it, and save yourself from credit card fraud.
